my indicators blink a lot faster on the right hand side. I swapped the bulbs from the left side to the right side and it still blinks faster. How do I fix this so I can get a warrent

Check your bulbs are the right wattage & working and check all the connections for corrosion and clean them up with a bit CRC.

A good question might be when did you first notice this happening, and what happened right beforehand?

A faulty switch will sometimes have this symptom. Are they reliably at the same speed, or do they sometimes speed up and slow down?

If you have changed the bulbs from side to side that should rule out bulb problems.

not sure when it started happing. Just went for warrent and they pointed it out. My battery on my bike is dead atm so I cant check. But im pretty sure they are reliable at the same speed. The two on the right go faster than the two on the left, and continue at the same speed.

Do you know where a good place to take my bike is to get it fixed.

Nah, you need to get a new battery and check your bulbs and wiring. I would even suggest that maybe a new battery and bulbs will solve your problem immediatley!

FTR - I own 2 RG's and these probs are common!

She's right.
A low voltage battery will cause all sorts of problems on a RG.

A word of advice too: Never charge up the battery using the bike. IE Do not crash start it and ride it around thinking it will charge.
What will happen is your Reg/ Rectifier will fry. If not then, sometime after, and then you will always have charging issues.

Also, it will cost you nothing to do it yourself. However you will pay 100 times more by paying someone else to do it!!

I had this once on a car and had to chage the lamp holder in the end, luckily I changed the right one first due to dumb luck. The side flashing fastest is probably the side with the fault.
It will be a bad connection at the lamp, a bad wiring connection or wrong size lamp most probably.

Yeah it turned out i needed a new battery. Plus I had one 15watt bulb and the rest were 10w, so I got a 10w bulb and that made it blink normal speed.
