Yes guys it was definately on even if I had to watch from the wrong side of the fence for the day as my RG decided to have major gearing problems from Saturdays Track Day.
Weather was terrible today compared to yesterday.

Bugger - wish I had known you could have come up with me this morning! (As long as you didn't bring a handbag - the car is tad small... :) )

Yep you were sure looking good out there! Couldn't stay out - my gear got a bit too drenched!

I was out for the first couple of races, trying out different settings etc on my new gear. Here are a couple of shots/

It was the most fun I had for the whole weekend and you definately gave me the drive to want to stick with you and pass you are few times before the bike decided it had enough.
I guess thats all part of Motorcycle Racing, take the good with the bad. Never mind i will be back out there once the bike is back running again.

Team Aprilia was in top form even after an off on Saturday , Dean was doing around 1.17 on slicks in the drizzle on his 01 RSVR then he changed back to race wets for the race he won against Andrew Forwards 1198R ,
given the fact the 1198R costs over $72K & even the race flarings where full Carbonfibre it woldn't be something you would want to throw down the track in the wet or dry $$$$$$$ .
Sold my spare F1 rear sets to Dean & Peter Tanner put them on for his next race which he won I believe . Bloody wet /windy ride down to Manfield from New plymouth & with a brand new rear tyre on trying to scrub it in in the wet with side winds made for a challenging days riding . Great day though even with a rainy ride home again .

Which has already been done! (through no fault of his). Amazing bike though, and a long way from standard, the more you look mat it the more trick bits you see. great to see it on track being used as it should be.
