Well saturday was so hot I drove up got to track bout 6pm dad had pit set up bikes scrutinered etc,
Got to sleep awoke sunday to RAIN!
I hate rain well it seemed, I was doing F1 as well and on our final call I was just finishing putting the wets on what a prick that rear rim is to change the spacers keep falling out!!!!!
Out into F1 Qualifying and I was just circulating rather slowly and had no confidence at all managed to qualify 18th
F2 Qualifying a drying track with the wets worried me I might shread them but Daunting black clouds also made me think it was gonna piss down I got a resonable qualifying but only got 17th on the grid the qwets were real wierd tip in affect like they wanted to fall over in the dry
F2 Race one: A resonable launch on a dryish track got me up to about 15th and I worked away then the rain came everyone was on slicks I was loving it picking them off oneby one I was pretty happy to see the leaders not far in the distance either and got the white flag and was up BJ's arse on the final lap one more lap I reckon I could have got him but got a 6th place finish my best ever race finish since leaving 125 GP over 2 and half years ago. I was loving the wets leant over knee downing rain pissing down on me it didnt fell right but the bike was gripping like crazy the front end was so sweet Any Suspension work go see Robert Taylor he builds good suspension!!!
F1 race 1:
Pretty much the same as the other but everyone was on wets but I had so much confidence and I got up to 8th place overall chasing down a R1 just he would always straight line away from me which gutted me. Oh well another good finish it felt wierder tho entering the sweeper about mid corner cranked over knee down and the rain was even worse than the other race!!!!
F2 Race 2:
I cant remember this one but it was ok I guess was pretty tired all I remember was coming sideways onto the front straight
F1 Race 2:
A good launch but as I got to hair pin I got run off the track and was dead last then my bike bogged up must have sucked some water through the front scoop by this stage I was dead last by miles! I managed to ridelike crazy abit pissed off from being run off and caught a couple of bikes and made the pass one into the sweeper under brakes and another around the outside at turn 2 to line me up for turn 3 on the inside line then took off and finished about 12th i think
