As this is a Wii thread, can anyone tell me what that stupid loop of string on the handset is for?

Assuming his Mii is based on him, that's one cheesy moustache.

And hearing him cry "mama"! Bit old to be living at home playing Wii on his Mums T.V.

lol very true. Indeed his Mii would have been based on his charicteristics (my thought also). Good identification there.
