I was outta the country back then but just the thought of Holden on the exotic new Ducati 916 vs Stroudy on the Britten makes me go all tingly.

Outrageous as it may seem, it's probably not that badly priced - they were what, about US$30K or so new back in 93-94 and only about 40 or so made. I've seen one or two up for sale at around the US$90-100K over the last few years and there was one for sale in Aussie a while back for about AU$120K which was probably cheap.
Given it's history it would have to one of the more desirable Supermono's around.......IF you were in the market for one. That was a stunningly fast bike and Robert certainly gelled with it, it was fantastic to see it being raced in NZ as they were very, very trick bikes for their time.
Wonder if Don O'Connor or Dallas Rankine knows it's for sale?
And yes, seeing Robert and Andrew go at it on the 916 & Britten was certainly one of the highlights of racing in NZ back then.
Nice find :)

I remember watching Stroudy and Robert Holden race at Baypark, must have been about 1993... Robert won on the Ducati from memory, great race! Had a poster of the Britten on my wall of my bedroom for years haha
