Go for it - the only opinion that counts when it comes to helmets? - YOURS.

The problem with this is that YOU are the only one who can't see it whilst in use. If you get it, do not be fooled into thinking that all those looks are from GentlemenAdmirers.

Try before you buy, Suomy are a very strange fitting hemet. The Spec 1R I tried fitted OK everywhere except on the forehead area, it would've given me headaches straight away.

Is this a girly, feminine flowery thing going on ? Not that its a bad thing, just wondering.(wouldnt Hacksaw Jim Duggan and his legendary 4 x 2 be more appropriate for you NC, considering your job? ) :D

I wear a helmet all the time cause I'm ugly, you gotta jazz it up a bit. It's the only reason I got into bikes.

I think it's awesome, I think it's more of a sense of humor item :)

I love Suommys. They fit my head perfectly but the only negetive side of it is that the side pods come off if there is a bit of wind resistance (when traveling at high speeds). I had one fly off into the wind on my Suommy Booster and one on my Spec-1R. Then you can't just buy one, you have to buy a set of side pods which again costs you money. Could be a marketing tactic but still, cool helmets! :niceone:

Yup - an Arai RX7RR Corsair for $600. Very nice. A bit noisy though. But aren't all Arais. It's those bloody earcupvisorholderthings fault apparently.

The Spec1R has a more snug fit than most , similar to arai.
On the forehead the removable liner has 2 of the buttons that can get you bad.
You can actually push on them which slightly dents the polystyrene a bit.
This gets rid out the uneasy forehead pressure sometimes.
