Hey all nice forum.

I had an RG125 a year and a half ago but sold it after a car accident...

Anyway that's over and so is that relationship ;) So it's time for another bike. I'm heading up the line on Sunday to pick this up:

I love the look, but I've also been offered a 1988 Kawasaki GPX with 33 000k's on it for $2000 from the bike shop next door to me, apparently they're recomplying it and putting new front shocks on.

Opinions?

Thanks heaps!

Both good bikes so i guess it comes down to what you like the look of and what you want to spend. Question you have to ask is why they are putting new front shocks on the GPX? As an upgrade or was it in a crash?

Welcome!

Bandits are always good, although the Km's seem rather low for a 20 year old bike..?

Cheers guys. Yeah the GPX probably would have been a crash with the recomply and all I guess...got the bandit anyway! Took my mate up who knows his stuff and he was astounded with the condition of the bike. All parts same age, sound motor and box etc. Chain only has a couple of thou left in her, and I've spotted a tight spot there as well as the front seals on their way...

But all up for 2450 to be back on a bike, and this bike!..well worth it :D
