I am sitting my ski instructors certificate this winter, which involves me spending every weekend in ohakune from july till october. So I wont be able to ride until october anyway, at which time I will be moving back to Auckland, and then onto who knows where (bring on canada!!). If october rocks around and I decide to stay in Auckland for a while I will buy another bike then (will be elligeble for my full by then as well ), so im not selling my gear, and im not selling out on biking!
Oh yeah, and I cant afford to have this much $$ sitting in my garage gathering dust and still requiring maintenance and rego $$! I need the money for new skis etc as well.
Sorry if this comes up as 2 posts, but I didnt see the bike trader until I had posted in Online Trading allready.... :whistle:

Hmmm, would prefer not to unless a buyer wanted to buy the bike without the light. Its easy enough to remove, but just kinda helps make my bike stand out over the others advertised on trademe etc....

the k's are high, but i got mine with 52 on the clock :confused: yeah i know im a cheap arse. But the motor has great compression and goes bloody well.
BTW that bike is beautiful :love:

Haha, its just an asking price mate, if I asked what I wanted for it I would end up being bargained down lower than I want to sell it for.

RedBaron told me that colour.. especially green ;) makes the bike more valuable and therefore price fluctuates. I would chuck it down to 5k for a private tardme sale imo.

From what I remember John telling me a while ago about his, they tell you to F#$% off if you get close to the bike (it has a movement gyro or sensor of sorts mabey) and if you try sit on it/move it it is loud noise time! I think they also tell you if stuff ain't right in the alarm system etc.

Was a one off chance. Some guy in christchurch I know imported 5 but then his supplier changed pricing, so didnt get any more. Got in just in time :niceone:

Ive had a few offers lower than I hope to sell for. If someone is struggling for money I will offer to sell for less without things like shift light, alarm, pack rack, cover etc.
Dammit, the time has come to actually get serious about this. I have procrastinated for 2 long and turned down some good offers as I didnt want to be bikeless, but now I need the $$.
Make me a realistic offer.....

I'm "torti" on TradeMe. I e-mailed and asked if the bike was still for sale and how much it would cost to ship up to Auckland... and you said another guy was getting it shipped to Auckland.
Your bike is seriously one of the best ZXR's I've seen for sale so far... pity it's all the way down in Wellington... did that guy not buy the bike? Did he find out how much it cost to ship it?

Ah yup, im with you now. Sorry I didn't mean to imply that he had bought it, he was just just pricing up options as you were. Several people from out of Wellington have looked into it but placed it in the too hard basket. Probably doesnt help that I am only available weeknights dammit. He never got back to me with a shipping price, and there have been so many emails I kind of lost track. I brought it down here on a moving truck when I moved to wellington (broken collar bone so couldnt ride) but dont know how much that affected the price. You could approach one of the smaller house movers and ask them?
