Just some thanks from the ride home tonight after work.
Thankyou to the rider who failed to give way at a roundabout.
Thankyou to the rider who failed to give way at a roundabout and came within a metre of colliding with me.
Thankyou to the rider who failed to notice the fucken white line and the glaring red giveway sign that he rode straight through...
Thankyou to the rider for not even stopping to see if he had indeed caused the car following to run into me. Was a check my shorts kind of thing.
Thankyou to the rider for carrying on and cutting me off while I was going around the roundabout.
Thankyou to the rider for not "headchecking"
Thankyou to the rider who, when I managed to get you in sight again, didn't notice that he almost caused another accident by not giving way.....
Thank your lucky stars that your whole plate number was not able to be gotten. Although the two other motorists that were busy calling the police may have gotten your plate details.
All of the above is from the one rider. How the hell did you get your L Plate you blind prick.....!!!!

Love it when we try to kill each other :(Aint it grand! I try to kill someone at least every second day.
My favourite method is with my bare hands. Second best is with my front tire! Best so far was with little pinky finger! It's true!
I don't think any human being walks the planet "trying to kill people."

'How the hell did you get your L Plate you blind prick'.....!!!!
Was this rider on his/hers L Plate?
Or, are you saying ''how did you get a license in the first place'' with that statement?

In my opinion some of the advise you give on this site is dangerous, and could kill someone - nice to see admitting that it is a deliberate tactic.

Yep,there are some absolute knob ends on our roads...and they are not all in cars.
As you witnessed, some of the biggest tossers are riders, like the idiot that belted passed me on very greasy, potholed roadworks last Sunday in the pissing rain, and then proceeded to ride in the right hand wheel track of the opposing lane in the face of oncoming traffic :gob:
I'm glad that your skills are up to the mark, DZ!

Was on their L PLATE......
Was trying to say " How did he/she manage to get their license if they can;t follow the basic rules of the road like giving way at a giveway sign, and not checking".
Undies are fine. The driver behind me was a little shaken up as he had to lock up to avoid hitting me as I took evasive action. ( He admitted to following too close)....
Hopefully this rider might read this and take away from it the possible consequences of their actions.
Can live in hope that they might buck up and pay attention to what they are doing while on a bike, or even in a car. Too many accidents of late and it is getting kind of depressing to read, and or hear about fellow riders being injured, or worse.
Ride Alert, Ride Safe, Ride again tommorrow....:)

As I have said to somebody on here before , don't just ride for today......
Sounds like this particular rider has been "Self Taught" and they managed to fluke the skills test.
The trouble with passing the skills test is that, although it determines you can operate a motorcycle effectively, there is no guarantee that the rider can actually follow the road rules.
Similar to the scratchy test.... You can do enough of them, and just look for the correct answer. There is no actual way to determine if the student understands the question, or the answer they give.
All that they are doing is saying, or scratching the correct answer.
Now, the chances of them reading this are actually slim. Not all motorcyclists know about kiwibiker.
BUT, as we have 2 degrees of separation in NZ, then hopefully somebody on here will know mates of the rider in question, and something can be suggested that they get some more training before getting squished.
We can only but try....

Well something funny happened today. Intersection and the green light goes for turning traffic to turn, but this guy in a four wheel drive in front of me waiting to go stright decides to take off when the light is red and realises his mastake as he must have gone about 10-15 ahead. I sit there and hear other car drivers laugh at this guy and I shake my head and shrug my shoulders, next the guy if flipping me the bird and I return in kind. Now I thought that's over are you going to move as the light is green?
But no he's just sitting there holding up traffic so I decide to go around him and and give a flip of my throttle, as I go past I didn't see that small amount of gravel on the road ahead of me, oh well all the back wheel did is flick some of the stones back at him as I went on up ahead and I carried on my way. Idiot tail gated my all the way to the next intersection but I long lost interest in this guy as I turn into another street he went on ahead.
Clearly this guy made an arse of himself in front of traffic and decided to take out his frustration on a biker.
