Renting/borrowing bike in Wellington?

Since unbelievable times have disappeared from the face of the earth, there is no one that will rent a motorcycle in Wellington area.

I have a friend, she is a keen rider, came over from Germany recently and wants to go for a ride and cant afford to just buy a bike.

Does anyone know anyone or any company that would be willing to rent out a bike in the area? Naked sports bike would be the preferred style.

What type of bike is she looking for/ how far would she want to travel on it?

Naked/faired sports/touring bike would be good. She used to ride a Suzuki bandit s. Weekend rides as far as Castle point maybe but she really wants to ride as far as Taupo one weekend.

Ah well that puts all of our available bikes out then! Good luck, have you tried ringing Scooterazzi. I am not sure but they may hire bikes out or at least know of someone that does...
