Bit of a curly question without being able to see the battery - but here goes ...
Ripped the flat battery out of the Mrs new purchased 50 - Its a AERO 12V YT4L?E?S (? = can't make out the number or letter) has a rubber seal on top that says DO NOT OPEN and on the back it says DO NOT PULL OFF SEALED CAPS, with safety glasses pulled the long rubber cap off ;) and there's no acid covering the pots.
Is battery buggered or is this the set up of maintenance free batteries ? Want to bang it on the charger but thought would check first in case ended up frying it cause it actually needed some water added ?
