Well I spat the dummy & moved up to Auckland... Again. This time with a bike. So...

Can anyone recommend a good competitively priced shop/mech close to the CBD?

Much appreciated,

H

George at Motorcycle Doctors (http://www.motorcycle-doctors.co.nz/), great work, good prices he won't say something needs doing when it doesn't and he comes to you.

The only mechanic in Auckland that I trust my bikes with is AJ, who owns/runs Motohaus (http://www.ktlbikes.co.nz/), which is vaguely near Western Springs.

Kingsland, to be precise. Not really CBD, but close.

What area of Auckland will be home? There are more out there who may be more convenient than the CBD area.

I'll second that...AJ is awesome (and a really nice guy too!) Motohaus is in the same building as KTL Motorcycles in Western Springs :D

i'll make that a third..

He is the only one who has touched both my bikes other than me.... reliable and really helpful and most importantly damn good at what he does...

If I remember correctly from my experience, Motohaus went kaput towards the end of last year.
Disappeared overnight.

Which was unfortunate.

How unfortunate. Nobody seems to have told them they've gone out of business and disappeared.

Hell, I even thought that I was there this morning.

Guess I'm going to be waiting a long time for those crashbungs.

I'd vote for george the motorcycle doctor.

You get to watch him work on ur bike, so if he stuffs up you know about it! Plus you get to learn how to do things!

Pt Chev... But I do like the idea of Motorcycle Doctors, as RM stated, you can learn from watching the work happen.

KTL aint to far away either so I'll sort something easily.

Cheer.
