Choosing my first bike

im choosing between the GT250R and the 92 Ninja 250
i don't know if the GT250R is reliable enough than the old ninja.
and the power is one of the point im concerning about too.
will be appreciated if i can have some pointers here

How tall are you? Hyos are good for taller people because they are basically same size as a 600. Go take one for a ride. Also, why not the new ninja 250?

im 183cm, why not the new ninja 250? because the money i can affored is arround 4k.
or is there any idea for getting a bike for this money?
for the older bikes (e.g. RGV250 and old ninjas) will there be many problems just because of their ages?
and plus the GT250R using the body of 600's, wouldn't that be too heavy for a 250?

i have a hyo and am around the same height as you are. They arn't as powerfull as the older bikes bt if they havn't been thrashed they are reliable. There weight is not to bad and personaly i don't think you can go wrong with one.

the new VTR250 is nice. as are the older CBR250RR's - much more powerful than anything else except the old kwakka's - but better build quality. Honda forever.
There is a reason that they held their value so well....
