My bike shop gave me a loan of their copy of a DVD titled "Ride Forever". Sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere, but when I try to search the site tells me that I'm not logged on.
This DVD is fantastic for a learner rider, it's produced by ACC and I don't know why everyone who passes their class 6 learner's license isn't given a copy. I thought it was worth having, so I copied it onto a DVD for my own continued use.
It follows 3 riders around Wellington, across the Rimatukas, and on a day at Manfield with Aaron Slight, and there are 3 experienced judges who comment on what is happening.
All you leaners out there, and those on your restricted licenses and even you experienced riders, contact your local ACC office and ask them to mail you a copy.
Pisses me that this has been produced using my ACC levy, and every person who passes their 6L license or buys a bike isn't given a copy. It's been produced, it would only cost cents per disk to produce thousands of disks for general distribution.
