But seriously, that's pretty stupid and dangerous, sounds like the norm more and more these days for drivers.

There does seem to be a very high percentage of drivers who don't put their lights on when in fog. Maybe it hasn't occurred to them that they are practically invisible to others?

And at the other end of the extreme you get the people with extra rally lights and fog lights who drive around with them all on at night so you are totally blinded by the wall of light approaching you.
