Wanted : virago 400 - 535cc

Looking for a nicely priced (f'ing cheap) Virago 535cc or the like. Basicaly a v-twin cruiser between 400 and 600cc. condition is not so importent but has to be raedy or nearly ready for the road.

Thanks for that waylander. I currently have a Honda Magna 750 from 83 but would like a bike thats a little smaller so the virago 535 would be perfect. I had a Savage 650 but I'm not too keen on the single cylinder. It was an ok bike to start on (I'm from Denmark and there you can start on any bike you like) but need something else this time round.

Well I know there are a couple of broken ones at bikes 'n bits here in Hamiton but they are pretty much beyond repair. Don't know of anybody that is actually selling one that is in good condition though. i'll keep an eye out for ya.

the 535 is pretty rare - you could try e-moto, they might be able to bring you one in. my wife wants a smaller virago, but they are usually well looked after, and not cheap.

It does seem like the 535 is nowher to be found. Did see a 400 on trademe, no reg/wof and bid on it but it went for a bit more then i was prepared to pay for it :no:

nup. no virago. she has to make do with looking at the sky on the back of the TL, or driving the boat while i'm skiing, or watching me do aerobatics, or otherwise pretty much bankrolling my expensive hobbies :)

Thanks Marty, hmmm looks very nice just what i'm looking for but since i don't have a bank roller but an X thats a bit more like a black hole i might have to parse :crybaby: as the price is too much for me. Would love it though ..... ralle ralle mmmmm chicken .... drible
