I want to remove an ad after my bike is sold but the system won't let me
can someone tell me how please?

cant help, but that'll be the purty red thing Frosty turned up here on before he shot off to AK?
can you edit your ad in the meantime and write SOLD in big letters ?

You can delete the ad from the trader, but not the thread.

You can't dump the advert but what you can do is sewriously edit it --delete the detail

On this topic. How about old ads being removed?!
I've seen ads very very dated still coming up in searches......(which have obviously sold)

Trader search or forum search? Trader ads are deleted after one year. Before that it's up to the poster to delete the ad.

Yeah trader search. Perhaps 6 months would be more realistic? People could always renew their ad.....it just makes it easier for those of us searching is all.
It's a bit frustrating seeing an ad which catches your attention, to realise it was listed mooooonths ago.

jellywrestler, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

wow that's incredible, i done that but i want to remove the ads i've finished, simple really, all those ads that are no longer needed are just spam to people looking
