Can someone help with a sticking throttle problem I have with the Trophy. The throttle will hang on for about 10 seconds if rolled off, but if u snap it off or let it go it comes back to idle as normal. Cheers Dan

Pull it apart & lubricate the cables with graphite or silicone and then check for damage in the twist grip assembly.

The cables are returning as they should I thinking the problem is with the diaphragms or a air leak was just seeing if there are any other ideas out there. Cheers Dan

It doesn't sound like that if when the throttle is forced closed the engine reacts as it should.
I'm presuming it's carburettored since you mention diaphragms... how long since the carbs were synchronised (balanced)?
An air leak will manifest as a high idle but won't necessarily disappear when you heavily force the throttle closed...

Ok, so by closing the throttle you mean returning it firmly to the stop but not holding it there?

If u rev the engine them let the throttle go it will return to idle as it should. If you rev the engine and roll the throttle back by hand it holds the the rev's for about 10 to 15 seconds, Cheers Dan
