I came across a shop today called "Bolt Shop" located at 191B Archers Road on the North Shore of Auckland. It's down the end of a driveway, and not that easy to spot from the road side.

I was real impressed. This is a store dedicated to selling bolts and bolt accessories. They seem to have an extensive collection of bolts of every size made out of all sorts of materials, all different kinds of nuts, binding materials (all different kinds of Loctite and the like) ... really everything to do with bolts.

The place is lined with rows and rows of shelves, each tightly filled with boxes full of bolts. It's like a supermarket of bolts.

The guy that served me seemed to know his stuff. Looked at what I was wanting and was able to identify the thread size just looking at it. He got it spot on.

All in all I was very impressed. So if you need a particularly kind of bolt, or having trouble finding one, try these guys.

Another flavour to the theme.

1 Go and get bolted. = Fuck off

2 Go bolt ya self. = Ya wanker

3 He's bolt and nuts.=Bi

4 Bolt on in. Quickie.
