Well, I couldn't access the shop, sales etc section, so had to go and do it here! :sweatdrop
After many long nights and clandestine meetings with my partner, we have finally got BIKEKO up and running! What is it you say? In my best P.T.Barnum voice, I say in unequivocal voice ...
It is our online bike parts store, procuring choice bits of Japanese quality bike bling and bits ... sourced from ... Japan (the mind boggles).
We are having our grand opening at Paeroa, Battle of The Streets on Sunday 21st Feb! Basically in Marshall Street, right next to the RED building!
So as a personal invitation from gijoe1313 and Jeaves, come along and introduce yourself as a KBer and we'll make sure you're greeted not as a leper! Looking forward to meeting and greeting and being part of BotS! :woohoo:

Hmmmm...wheres the Harley range :oi-grr:
 Will have to find some japanese suppliers who do that stuff then! (will add that to our quest!) ... mind you, some of that japanese stuff I seen for Harleys .. boggles the imagination! http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~gnl/japanese/index.html this guy is atypical of the genius / lunacy in the land of the rising meatball!

You can screw those indicator kits in too right?
I bet you say that to all the girls! :msn-wink: Yep, some are made for the flush panels of sprotsbikes, others for stalks and ... I'm sure those clever japanese probably have made zero-gee floating ones that we haven't found yet! :pinch:

G'day Slyer, those kits are designed to be stick on (fairings etc), however you could possibly drill the base and attach with screws from there.

Ooh my business partner speaks! (Thank god, he's the brains of the operations) I just do the riding around bit and generally being the mascot of the company! :innocent: I mean, any excuse for a ride! (actually this trip to Paeroa, I'm taking one for the team, I'm driving our van down with all the goodies in it :weep: (hmm wonder if I could hide my lil'ol'hornet in the back and he wouldn't notice )

how old a bike can you source stuff for love?
Im on the lookout for bits for my 82 LTD. I know a place in the US where I can buy stuff, but the exchange rate is a bit unhelpful at the moment and freight costs are pretty h igh.

Well wouldn't you know it! Up with the worms who still have their sleeping caps on! Anyway, off to scoot around to give Jeaves a wakey-wakey and pick up Ting, our volunteer promo girl for the day! (And no, not Ting Tong from Hong Kong, ala Little Britain :slap:)
Ods bodkins, toodle pip and all that tommy rot wot? Chocks away! See you all there for elevenses and buttered cream scones and pikelets! (Or something gribbly and Jeaves and Wooster-like! Oh ho ho!) :msn-wink:

Geez, I'd pay you twice this much, for a harness for the rear of my bike.

Gah, just got in the door, ton of things I had to do on getting back to Auckland! :pinch: Anyway, thanks to all the KBers who dropped in and said hello and mooched a freebie off me! (you all know who you are, even if I don't!) I was doing all the gabbing, Jeaves was there to actually provide the tangible facts, which I lacked. Little Ting was getting too cold, too hot at times and spent most of the time looking for a usable porto-loo
Great times, great racing, was sorry to hear from TOTO about the appalling crash, which reminded me instantly of the winter olympics incident. I managed to get away from the tent to do a little gad about with zeocen who was going home early.
Anyway, tired I am now (had to get a hour power nap in the arvo!), van still to be sorted ... but feel good ... and it's all thanks to people like you who (in best Bette Midler voice) act as the air beneath my wings (or is that a lead weight to my feet?)
Next time, I'm riding my bike though dammit! :oi-grr:

Todd's crash or Todd's report of Paeroa crash?

Heheh, ahh the vagaries of engrisk! :pinch: Heck, even my dad heard about the incident through one way or the other (was concerned until he realised I was driving the van! :pinch:)

Hi,
Bikeko is pronounced Bike-ko (one word).

That wouldn't make sense at all in English though. The repetition of the K's sounds weird.
