I see that the top four places in testing at Philip Island have been taken by the big twins.

Who, if anyone do you think can get close to Haga and Fabrizio this year?

I'd love the Alstare boys to win, but I can't really see it with two new riders. Johnny Rea and the CBR look fast, but the R1 and the X10 look as if they're struggling.

I'm a bit worried that last year's result was more to do with the talent of Ben Spies, rather than the ability of the R1. This year may turn into a bit of the old best of the twins, and then the rest series again.

All of the others (except the Kawasakis)! Aprilia, Honda, BMW, Yamaha and Suzuki...

ducati has often had alot of people at the front at PI, remeber too the Duke is virtually the same as last year so its pretty solidly built, with a lot of guys who have ridden it before. eachsession has tended to have various guys at the front session to session.

add to that the dukes were a bit further back at portimao just a few weeks ago.

Haslam on the suzuki im sure will win races, and johnny rea will be a front runner. It may take a couple of rounds for the season to become more clear i think, but the times are pretty close and i expect alot to happen through the year.

on the talent of spies or the R1, wayne gardiner rode all the bikes after the last season, and his big comment was how he was so amazed at the R1, and the fact it wasn't particularly brillant (storng motor though)

Max on the Aprilia will be out to kick arse! The BMW's will be looking to do better - they've got the most power, just can't use it all. Be interesting to see what Vermeulen does on the Kwaka.

I reckon keep an eye on Leon Camier. First time at the island and he is only 0.1s behind max, pretty damn impressive. Doubt he will be able to take the championship but I think he will take a few wins.
