Not coming this time. Have had to take too much time off to stand on the start finish line for the Hampton NZSBS round and the boss won't let me have another day :(
I'll be there in April though.
Is the SV being drawn at this day?????

HA! My beloved backed his mower into the shed and just knocked my bike forward enough to roll off its stand :( and down it fell onto his bike!!
Nasty dent in my tank and broke his side cover. He had such an adreline rush he was able to pick up my busa from that squashed up position.
When I got home he had a lovely roast dinner cooking!
I got the new tank yesterday, and John Baker Insurance have taken care of everything : )

The day goes ahead if its pissing down. There is no reason to avoid a trackday, even your first if its raining.... A wet trackday is more valuable in alot of ways, you'll ceratinly gain more skills etc. If the track is unrideable (standing water / dangerous) then the day will be rescheduled, we've never had to do this.
If you're worried about it just pre book and pay on the day. If the weather forecast isn't to your liking you can stay at home :-)

Well managed to get the time off work - unfortunately it's due to ACC with my leg in an above the knee plaster for the next 12 weeks. It means I still can't come! So unfair!!!

That was my first trackday. Two hour ride there, I forget how many sessions, and a two hour ride home.
Chickenstrips halved, boot sides shaved, and not a scratch on anything shiney! :niceone:
Put some names to faces, and met quite a few people too.

My first track day, binned it twice towards the end of the day :innocent: Learnt that my tyres are poked - they let go without any warning when not leaned over massively far (only been riding 2 weeks so a bit of a learning experience regarding the tyres).
Awesome fun!! Can't wait for the next one - new tyres will be mandatory (plus a few other repairs - doh)!

Glad you had a good day even though you binned it. You had heaps of corner speed for someone who has only been riding for two weeks... have you done MX or any other typre of riding?
Come find me next time, i'll do my best to help you get smoother and lessen the bin odds :D
Here (http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/YO8rudnQlPp6H_TnC0fXTg?feat=directlink) is another pic of you btw ;)
