Hey,

I am a Canadian who has been backpacking in NZ for the past 8 weeks. I just spent 6 weeks in the South Island but arrived back in Wellington yesterday.

I was wondering if anyone would like to go to the zoo or maybe a Fringe play or something. I seem to be hemorrhaging money a lot quicker than planned so I won't be able to stay in Welly long, but I would love to see the zoo :) Then I am off to explore the West coast and make my way back to Auckland (I think)

Yep, I was and still am in Wellington. Met up with Mom and Maha and a few other members of KB and they were all fantastic :) I had the pleasure of meeting Nasty as well who most graciously offered me lodging in her wonderful abode here in Whitby for the next few days. And let me tell you, I could not have found a more welcoming and accommodating hostess. Talk about lucking out! :)

So yes, I will be staying here in Welly for a few more days than originally planned. I really want to check out the zoo and the Fringe (Ruby Tuesday, Sometimes I don't Like Yellow, and Sunday Roast all caught my eye) so if anyone wants to show me around this wonderful city, that would be fantastic :P

That's excellent Sean, I'm glad to hear you're getting to meet some of the lovely folk over there. How are the pics going? I must go check again. Do you think you'll be able to afford a bike, if you haven't already got one?
Enjoy Welly. I'm looking forward to visiting that area myself one day.

You two get back north okay? Find that phone??!! Was great to see you both at Nastys place over coffee.

I wonder if I could make a career out of changing light bulbs............
