Very - Just look at the costs of trackdays in the UK!

PB magazine entered a few round last year. Depsiet being 'no budget' they said that a lot of people turn up with very trick setups!

Endurance racing - cool.

500-600 bucks (aprox) per SINGLE race on an old bike that you could have had a decent ProTwin or 600SP for? Not as cool.

Maybe racing in the UK isn't that great - look at the entry fees! Makes 2 days riding including 3 races at Hampton Downs for the Nationals at around $--- (Havn't done entry yet so doesn't know) look pretty damn good!

Club racing is way more expensive in the UK. Or, from my perspective, club racing is way cheaper coming here! There are a lot more tracks and rounds, though given the size of the country, relatively less travelling between them. I have friends who budget around 10k (pounds) for a first full season :shit: Turn up to a club round a Brands Hatch and some people have motorhomes!

Exposure is pretty good though (people pay to watch club racing!) and if you are very good, then getting a ride in BSS or BSB isn't out of this world as a lot of rounds are run as support classes for the national series.

Ah course I didn't think split between two or three riders...Sounds like a fun series. I have a friend here who has just come from racing in the UK but he didn't say how high the entry fees are...a wee bit of a shock compared to the expense here getting between the Islands.

Just looked at the bemsee site. Opening round is a two-dayer at Brand's = 225 pounds :shit: for minitwins (UK equiv. of pro-twin). And there are 11 rounds.....

There are no restrictions to engine tuning and suspension changes, the only rule is that both the engine and the frame have to be from a bike made between 1990 and 2000.
Shit loads of money will be spent then.
