Ooooh.... I gotta be tempted. My bike (640) is still living in Christchurch at the moment, but I may be able to track down another one if I trailer it there. No plate is hard to talk your way out of.

easy to find if ya wanna go for a tootle up there, but recomend going with a buddy.

jump on this one if you can, it normally starts with a handful of bikes then escalates to around 25ish. bloody good trip.

head towards rags turn right you got all they way to the port or turn left and you got all the way to Awakino all by gravel...
quite often we'l be around the raglan kawhia loop or the port waikato loop all easy 1/2 to 1 day rides,

oh and welcome dude there a good bunch of grumpy old fellas on here...

From as south as Tauramanui to as Nth as Pt Waikato there is hundreds of km's of gravel roads, and places to see.
Buy a few "Land Information 1:50000" maps, from your local camping/map shop, learn the index, and go riding.
Some nice day rides: Old Raglan Rd through Bridal Veil Falls and out to Kawhia. (the slip is pretty well sorted, easy peasy now).
Kawhia sth to Taharoa-Marakopa,.
Waitewhena Rd sth of Pio Pio to Ohura. (several options/saddles to play on)
Nth of Raglan on the coast Rd to Pt Waikato, (option to come home on inland gravel roads)
The list go's on n on n on n on ...................
Yeah, I know I should arrange another ride:Pokey:
