I have just had one of the best days of my life! Thats right, up there with the day I got married and the birth of my two girls. It was Sunday and I was participating in the Superbike races under the Open Stock production class. But my day was only possible because of all the people I'd like to publicly thank.

Marknz-This guy is a legend, cool, calm and collected and the things he has to say I worked out pretty quickly was well worth listening to. I had only met Mark once before but he offered to crew for me for the weekends racing and I am very glad he did.

Big Rick-an old mate that offers advice like "harden up and ride like a mad man" did actually help too!

Shaun Harris- he offered to change tyres for me over the weekend and I did a deal with him for some rearsets, with the tyre changing etc he went well above and beyond the initial kind offer and the rearsets although I havent had a chance to fit them yet are one trick set, cheers dude.

The CKT boys although they were busier than super busy things Robert still gave me the info and help I needed, But they should revise there breakfast diet!

Deano and Pussy- bloody nice guys These two both stopped by the pit and we had a great laugh and both offered great advice and tweeked the bike for me which worked!!!!

Skunk- Andrew helped out with a spot for the bike at night with out even me having to ask! Legend!

DangerDave- Great guy and we had a really great day, An epic battle in the last race, apparently we even got a quick mention on the PA about the race we were having and at the end of the day in our own little one day championship between each other we walked away with 1 win each.

And of course people like Slowpoke , Reece, Str8 Jacket and many more that made a perfect day of racing!

What made it one of the best days of my life?
I felt like I had won the championship finishing the last race. Kids came up to me a got posters signed!
I achieved a goal I never really thought was possible, Racing with the top guys was an experience i will never forget from Andrew Stroud Smoking the bike up sideways past me down the back straight, Hayden Fitzgerald backing it in, in turn one only metres away, to me acheiving all my goals, a PB in the 1:13's (just. 13.988! in the last lap of the last race) and not coming last in the last race.

I am still smiling, I think open stock production is a great class, Tony Rees was lapping at 1:09's and I could compete on a bike that was 4 years old and apart from the ohlins suspension all I did was a 520 conversion, air filter and a pipe and its a 750, Perfect!!

And of course the Vic club and my sponsors: Pirelli, EBC, Motomart, Slotmedia and Ripe Coffee, businesses that deserve to be supported!
Thank you everyone I cant wait to tell the grandchildren.

Goodonya Ken! That's what it's all about eh? A few skids, a few laughs, and amongst some amazing racers, what more could you ask for? Great to see you out there just a shame I couldn't join the fun.....next time.

Good on ya, dude! It’s pretty awe-inspiring seeing the control some of those top boys exhibit over the weapons they ride! And even better when they do it past you and you’ve got the best seat in the house!

Maaate, my job was made easy by you.... you did all the hard work!

Bloody good on you too, was very proud of your effort in that last race. You set your goals and you achieved them... can't ask for much more than that.

Cheers boys, can't wait to race with ya Spud, and yes I will take your offer up Pussy, Tony I hope we can get out together again you were the one to get me to a 1:14 and Deano you have a very sneaky way of pushing peoples boundries. The only problem with this racing addicition is once you achieve your goals you set another and i'm already visualising 1:11 but I promise Mark to keep my head down!!!!!!!!
