Hi guys...I am in UK and have a 03 Suzuki GS 1200 SS....

Wondered if any of you have experience with de- restricting the 112 mph limit on this model ?

I followed a thread on this great site from 2006...but no definate answer.

Please help if you can...sick of my mates cruising past so easy.

Had the bike for 3 years....great fun to ride...but would like to get it done. :scooter:http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r122/moriwaki1105/Jonvisit28Oct07019.jpg

112mph is 180kph.

At 141 kph we lose our licence out here, so not a lot of NZers will complain about that restriction.

Try the racing thread. Lots of people will do it for you in the UK. I thought it was just an ECU thing.

Once you've done that, if you want horsepower you'll need gsxr cams , carb kit and an exhaust .
Then for more HP you'll need to get the head off . (or maybe tins of compression LOL) Gaz.
ps thinking about it , probably best to get at least Bandit carbs which are 36s', 38 or 40 would be better.
