Fark, that'd be real easy to fold its skinny nosewheel off, mind you its russian, so don't be surprised if th nosewheel strut is the size of your thigh.

Thats pretty cool. I remember seeing my first wasp at school many moons ago. Was no Hind but was cool.

Pleased to see a helicopter thread so I could post this (found the link on a discussion about unmanned drone aircraft, which morphed into"terrorists" (ie any country not allied to USA or Israel) getting hold of drones, etc) Watch the vid then imagine replacing the bottle of Coke with anthrax or a kilo of radioactive material or similar) Anyway, I want one, and they are available for around 1200 Euros

Those Russians and their helicopters. The Americans made an MD500 fly without a tail rotor - the Russians had to go one better and make an Mi-24 fly without the main rotor spinning!

I do hope you are aware of what is causing this particular optical illusion. But yes, it does look pretty damn weird.

I'm not that daft! The camera fps matches the main rotor rpm (or at least the right fraction of) and so it looks like the rotor isn't spinning.
