Not sure anyone else has mentioned this yet, what with all the concerns about Jamie (very pleased to read he is not as bad as first heard), the controversy of the 600 results, the apparent ease with which Mr Stroud dominated, and the exhultation of Kapiti Kens brilliant SuperStock effort on his 750....

But I wanted to say that anyone who wasn't mesmerised and excited by the racing that Jason Easton and Glen Williams put on for us had to have cold beer running through their veins. Over the whole weekend there seemed to be little more than 50m between the two of them, but that last race on Sunday avo has to be one of the best races I've witnessed with my own eyes. There must have been between 15 & 20 lead changes in the race, and it was all done in bloody good spirit. Bloody good on the both of you. You showed how good close and safe racing should be, and for mine, it's a shame that one of you has to come 2nd in the championship. You both deserve a trophy for those efforts.

And I hope you're both on here to read this too!

:clap::clap:

Yup,
What he said!

I was cheering them both on the whole time....
Two top riders on very different bikes, so close!! Fantastic to see.

I'm with you there Mark, the lines Glen was having to run into the first corner was insane! Amazing to watch considering the bike designs couldnt be further from each other.

Truly was spectacular racing. And barring mishaps, was the only class where the result was not a foregone conclusion.

Gutted! I had a feeling there would be some epic battles in that F3 but my races were right after it so I couldn't get a look!!

Hopefully a bit of it makes it on to the telly!

I only saw race 1 on Saturday and it was brilliant.
Glen had a good lead from the start. Easton caught up and had a bit more top speed, a nice clean pass.
A last lap dive up the inside by Williams into turn 1 had him back in front and just held it to the finish line. MAGIC STUFF.

RUB A DUB DUB. he he he he.

That last F3 race alone made the trip to Manfeild for the day VERY worthwhile.
Bloody awesome!

It was awesome to watch from the infield by the Harpin. Close, but very safe riding by both of them - was great to watch.

Yes, us guys on the infield (or is that infeild??? Being Feilding and all) got to see action the others don't normally get to see....
Shame you had to ride your two wheeler there to get there though Jay.

Very enjoyable race, the laps zipped by pretty fast. Glad it was me in front at the very end :-) - but by only 0.019 i think..........
