Does it matter if the warmers go round the sides of the tyre?.
Im thinking about buying some but all the warmers i see advertised are for wide 180 type tyres rear and 120 front.
The front would be ok as i run a 110-70-17 on the front and a 130-70-17 rear and am considering going to a 140-60-17 rear so i can put some gpr10a dunlops on but would the larger warmers be ok on these smaller tyres

You can get skinnier warmers. Not had a problem with warmers on my 140 rear on the 'cane. A front warmer may fit a 130 rear

oi mike go talk to kevin from race supplies. he should have some contacts for 125 tyre warmers and the like, which are probably pretty close to what you want, or can point you in the right direction.

my understanding is if the elements aren't dissapating their heat to the tyre they can overheat and burn out easily = fucked warmers. but that being said my 160 sized rear warmers tend to only contact the inner 3/4 or so of the tyre.

Hay scratch, whot size rims are you running on the cane with a 140?.
mine are 2.5in front and 3.0in rear so not sure a 140-60-17 gpr10a would be efective.
I just run sport demons at the mo but am after other options.

shoot in and see Graham and Paul - they can hook you up with a set of BT003RS Bridgys that require very little warmup time - working extremely well on the track for our riders this season.
