And you can be right behind Carver in the queue for the cells when you get locked up for having an offensive weapon.

It's tempting to build some sort of device by the gauge cluster on my bike that can hold large fishing sinkers so I can throw them while moving at cagers who almost knock me off my bike.

My understanding is it's legal if it's not concealed. There's a bloke who makes them over here, and I know a couple of shops who have them clipped up on the wall for everyone to see. It makes quite a talking point.

and again you would be wrong. It is an offence to carry something as a weapon. ie - if you did not have a legitimate reason to carry it. People have been charged for it previously.
No different to you carrying your nun-chucks really. Just because they are not concealed dos't make it legal.

So if you're going to carry a baseball bat around, make sure you've got a glove and a ball too?

bingo! And preferably a small boy to play with.
edit - oh boy - could that be taken out of context !

And now this thread's up I expect the prosecution's case to demonstrate intent should be reasonably watertight.

So it would be okay to dress up as ninja's and carry round a samurai sword?

It probably wont be in all fairness. I guess that they would use it against drop kicks walking around with batons and nun chucks in public. personally I would rather they stopped them (and end up dropping the charges later) than leaving them walking around the streets - some of those fuckers are unhinged.

I know someone who got arrested for doing that. His Ninja skills obviously didn't include evasion.

Unless you are prepared to fight with it like you would kill someone then I would get rid of it, because any intruder will more than likely get it off you and use it on you.
Plus if they know it is there then they will bring a bigger weapon.
Either way, you won't stand a chance.

I knew a chap years ago who carried steel ball bearings in his jacket pocket. Apparently if he'd was cut-off he roar past them and hurl a handful at their windscreens.
Certainly not the type of behavior expected from the find riders of KB.

If anyone comes in the front door, I'll be out one of the back doors so fast......
How will anyone know it is there? I live over the ditch & far away.
Luckily the video surveillance alarm works well.
