All the best with that, an awesome weekend & an awesome ride. I live across the road from the WOMAD venue, a great spot!

If you do make it to the highway try and stop at the whongamomonomanomana hotel for a feed, it's changed hands yet again recently and the food is Fabo now, plus they've spruced the village up a bit too, I should think they've spent close on $20 to make over the entire town

He he, will do. If you get the chance swing by the Hungarian Bread stale, ZOMG!!! That is to DIE for! Last year there were heaps of stales lined up side by side, all the others you could walk straight up to & order, the Hungarian stale had a que a mile long! lol

$20? THAT much? lol
Good to hear its changed hands (again) Goeff was a nice chap but his wife Penny left alot to be desired so doesn't surprise me they sold. I stopped going there because of her & know others who felt the same way. I would just ride on through & eat/drink at the cafe up another 20km up the road, wicked stretch of road between the too also.

Me too but I'm glad I stopped this time, they've made a real effort with the food. Worth a trip out just for the top feed as if we needed an excuse to pound the tarmac out that way anyway:shifty:
Of course now I've recommended it everyone will go out there and get served a bowl of botulism gruel but two weeks ago when I was out there it was real fine.

Sounds right.... We were there for the Republic Day and wanted some coke to have with the Bourbon back at the camp ground. They only had 6 cans left and when we said "We'll have them," she wouldn't sell them to us, "as it would leave them without any coke..." It was 6 cans FFS. I caught his eye and he sold them to us without fuss.... and the Bourbons were good. Dunno what she was thinking. It was one less thing he had to sell off, once all was gone......
