WTF... my wife has just been told that changing the spark plugs on the car will not take the initial hour quoted... but rather will take 2 and a half hours instead... SERIOUSLY WTF... so i went over and asked... ahhhh I see, it all makes sense now... it's a v6, so it's harder to get at the plugs... WTF???? seriously, 150% longer job because it has 2 more plugs in it... don't dealer garages actually do these sorts of jobs on a regular basis, have training etc... I did the plugs last time and it took me an hour and twenty minutes (no training, no manual)... who the fuck are they trying to kid... their mechanics are trained right? I could MAYBE understand it if the car was a new model with a new configuration, but as it's as common as a common thing, you would have thought these guys would have done the job more than once...
rant over, but still seething at the bare face cheek...
What car is it? Audi V6? If so, then it makes sense...

Bit of anger there pal. So do them yourself.
I know id rather not fix a car for someone prone to angry outbursts & unreasonableness.

ha ha ha... aye wasn't too chuffed with them... but I was completely reasonable... just asked why the timecscale had jumped an extra hour and a half and was told the plugs are hard to get to (I mean seriously)... I know they're awkward (hence why i didn't want to do it again, that and i've just done the linkage on the bike (oh that one bolt to remove the dogbone nearly saw the bike drenched in fuel and set alight)), but me thinks that the Mazda garage might have worked on Mazda cars before and would have the tools and experience that would have saved me from the skinned knuckles that i know i'm going to have to suffer soon... that and i don't take kindly to people taking the piss out of my wife (which is what I think they've done, woman, kid, needs car quickly, why hasn't it been done, oh we're waiting on plugs and you'll have to pay for another hour and a halves labour too, because they're so vewy twicky to get at... BOLLOCKS)... just because they think they can... (he says in a calm collected manner)
