Goin about 25-30kmp/h in a t-shirt...

The important thing is that i rolled with it nice and cool, then pretended not to notice my arm covered in blood and lifted bike off the top of me (no damage to that) and rode off like nothin happened.

Ever since I saw a video on LiveLeak of a motorcyclist being shredded/mulched/minced in a truck's trailer wheels I realised that even the best protection systems will only ever prolong your agony by a few miliseconds in the really bad accidents.

Having said that I still beleive in ATGATT because sometimes living with a debilitating injury might be worse than death.

you should see if you can sell it on tm. everyone tries selling everything else.
one guy tried to sell his soul, but all the god squadders complained so they pulled it, yet they all went looney for a couple of ghosts in some bottles. gofigure.

not sure of the logic here?

I have come off at 70 km/h in the rain and had less damage than that (in school uniform)
picked bike up and rode home (had a few sore places but good as new a week later)

Doesn't matter what the logic is - I know of a guy who came off at 30 km/h and hit a lamp post - died from head injuries. My off recently was @ 50km/h and was lucky to walk away with a grapefruit sized haemotoma sticking out of my leg.

I was waiting for that stuff to come up.

some people are lucky, get up, brush the dirt off their shoulders and continue riding. others as we can see not so lucky

A guy from my village lost it at about 30mph on a wet corner. Slid in to an oncoming truck. He died. Sometimes there is no logic.

A mate of mine years ago fell of the back of a bike he was Pillion on it wasn't the fall that did the damage, it was the car following them, if he had a helmet on his mother would not have to care for him full time to this day, yep feeding him and wiping his arse, among other things, there are Worse things that can happen to you than Death.

Lucky they weren't speeding... as speed doesn't kill, according to some on here....

Probably wouldn't have had "a few sore places" and to wait for the week to come good?

Only wearing a t shirt huh? You would get along well with the naturist who rides his bicycle naked in Wellington.

Wear pants next time and stop scaring the children.
