I even checked in case someone had put one in there without me knowing but no suitable carbs in the shed.

Cheers for that Nordie.
I know it is a bit of a longshot but if we can help them through the bush telephone then that would be cool.
Anyone with a possible or maybe?

There are a couple of Honda wreckers around or atleast wreckers with Honda parts. How about checking some of the trademe listings for honda stuff and ask the Q to the listers. Worked for me for a rectifier. Also the listings / ads in the the kiwi motorcycle magazines often list bikes for wrecking. Just might not necessarily be cheap going to a wreckers is all...

What is stuffed with his current carb? I have a few assorted carbs in my shed in Hamilton, but likely nothing suitable. I would guess some kind of 32 - 34mm CV in a transalp?
Unfortunately I am in Christchurch at present, so I cant rummage through the bits, but possibly fixing his old one may be an easier option. I am also working on my bike this weekend, and could have a look at his one if I could track him down.
I enjoyed his company at Mavora, particularly the discussion we had on the ride up the side of the lake.

Have a look at ebay. If you find something in the UK or Europe I could buy it and send it over and someone could fix me up into my NZ account.
