Hey everyone,

As everyone knows i crashed mt GSX-R about 5 and a half months ago, WELL.... I know have everything (except for a head light, indicator and gear lever) READY FOR THE BIKE... Now all that has to be done is weld the sunframe, get my licence and assemble the bike!!!

See you on the road, then in the race track :niceone:

I'm really happy for you Chris, it will be good to get this all behind you ey? GOOD effort on sticking through all the crap, and getting to this point, it'll be worth it when you've stuck that last gear lever on :niceone:

As for never crashing on the road again, it's partly to do with how you ride and partly just "shit happens". If you take out the riding factor (i.e. ride "safely") you're less likely to crash, but "shit still happens" Here's hoping none of us ever crash on the road again (or in the garage, on the track, on the front lawn, while washing the bike or anywhere :msn-wink: )

Looking forward to finished pics of the bike, and then your post on getting your Full and finally rave race reviews!!! :Punk:

Please don't ALWAYS assume the worst of people, had I suggested that he crashed because he was being irresponsible I would be a bit of a wanker... Especially because I don't know all the facts.

What I was saying is, there are two ingredients to crashing. One is in your control while the other is not. The "how you ride" part was intended to be a general statement. Maybe I should have underlined just the "how" part. Anyway, it WAS NOT written meaning "How Chris Rides", but riders in general.

Ok? So when I reflect on the post, I was trying to be nice/encouraging and offer some info based on my opinion.

Yep got some chain lube... I wasnt going that fast, about 80kmh... its was the multiple somersaults that caused the bending and breaking...
