? Fastest lap times?

I always thought "fastest lap time" meant quickest around the track.

Now, I dunno & am stumped, so hoping someone can help.

Watching the movie Faster (for the 10000th time), I noticed something, so rewound to pause it. John Hopkins had the blue flag thingy next to his name & had posted the fastest lap - 9.987'45 or so. Below that was Rossi with 9.847'22 & further down the field was another rider with 9.45'51.

Can someone explain this to me please.

Blue is a personnal best time I believe. Red for best overal time.

Though I could be wrong.

Probably the "last lap" time, similar to the MotoGP website live timing.
