Just bought my first bike and found most of the reservoirs are low or empty.
Have just read that the oil I'm looking for is Castrol Power 1 GPS semi-synthetic (SJ 10W 40).
I've been told the reservoir under the seat is not radiator coolant as the bike is air cooled, etc but since it's green fluid I'm thinking that's what it is.
Can anyone help with the best fluids I"m looking for or a manual for a 1995 ZZR250 so I can get into this stuff myself as I'm bike mad and wanna be able to get my own hands on it:yes:

The green fluid under the seat is most likely the rear disc brake fluid resevoir, top up with brake fluid only if necessary, it will have a high and low level indicatior embossed on the side of the resevoir. I think DOT 3 or 4 is the fluid to use.

1995 ZZR250's were liquid cooled.

If there is no radiator then it's air cooled and no radiator coolant is needed. You can call up a bike shop and ask them questions about this stuff too.

Awesome, thanks - it has a radiator but someone told me it's likely to be coolant, which is crack up after omeone else said they didn't know bikes had radiators and has since been told to go look haha, I guess a few of us learnt something today!

If you trace the rubber hose from it you should be able to work out if it is brake fluid or coolant.
