Price: $8500 O.N.O

My 2009 Z750 is up for sale, and I need to sell rather quickly and downgrade due to other commitments.

I've had it listed for a long time, and not really getting much interest, I'm guessing this is because the price is too high? I don't want to be one of those tools who keep re-listing and hoping for it to sell, and not to mention, the deadline for when I must have the money by is fast approaching.

I'm really not sure how much this bike is worth, and I want some offers - anyone?

The bike is practically brand new. Has 2 new tyres, and all service history available. I holed the radaitor on a ride, and I have had it fixed professionally.

There is no money owing on the bike.

All service history / documentation to go with the bike.

So to recap, I'm not sure what it's worth, so hit me with some offers by PM or by email (mailto:doktor_kill_patient@hotmail.com?subject=Z7 50 Kiwibiker).

$20 and an RF?

In all honesty, $1 Reserve on TM will get you the very definition of "market value" - you need balls of steel though.

Or go see Frosty, see what he's got in stock and see if he'll do you a trade-down deal with cash your way (hint: take fresh baking when you go to see him)

Yep I have considered doing a $1 reserve, but the fact is that this is not really the best tiem to be selling - with winter fast approaching at all. I'm pretty keen to sell, but if it comes down to selling it for a ridiculous price, I'll be keeping it till next summer. Will contact frosty - cheers!

Simple. List as no-reserve for the lowest price you'd take, buy now as the price you ideally want. If you want to sell it fast, then that's the best way to do it 'safely' other than $1 reserve.

At a guess S=R at $8000 and buy now of $9500.

It's shit for you because you are in a hurry so you're gonna have to take a hit to move it quickly if you need the cash.

I'd like a minimum of 9000 ONO - this is what the dealerships are offering me for trades. If it comes down to losing a ridiculous amount of money on it, I'll keep it and find another place to get the money I need and then trade it in on a 600 or similar.

Cheers for the advice guys.

Now accepting offers of $9000 O.N.O

Some cheeky bugger already had the audacity to send me this text: "$6500 for your bike if it's as described"

I would take that offer of $6.5k if you need the money, it will only cost more through finance costs..

And I dont think the markets gonna turn around over night, it still might be slow selling in March 2013.....;)

Goodluck with the sale..

Ps I heard Max PreLoad has been looking at buying a new Kawasaki, this bike might be a wee bit small for him....

Cheers for the reply Crazy Steve - I've met Mr Preload - he helped me out with my CBR a while back. Will try sending him a PM and see if he's interseted.
