Hi people,

Myself and a couple of amigos are off on a wild adventure race across India in September. It goes from the Eastern side of India to the Western side. (http://rickshawrun10a.theadventurists.com/index.php?page=theunroute)

Anyway, part of us participating in this event is raising awareness for and supporting a charity that helps out people in the region that we are adventuring through. This is where I could do with YOUR help.

We are having a movie night TOMORROW (Tuesday 15/3/10). The cost is $20 for a movie and $10 of that goes straight to the Indian charity Frank Water (http://www.frankwater.com/) which gives kids in rural villages access to clean water rather than drinking from infected rivers. So that's pretty awesome, get to see a sweet movie and feel good about it! It will be at Sky City Cinema Queen St, the two options are below.

· Early session 6.20pm – Crazy Heart – Great story about a hard living, country singing legend. Won this years Oscar for best actor for Jeff Bridges as Otis ‘bad’ Blake. The film holds a 92% 'Fresh' rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 170 reviews.

. Late session 8.40pm – Shutter Island – The latest film by Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, a thriller following two US marshals sent to a remote and barren island to investigate the disappearance of an insane murderess.

Let me know ASAP if you want me to get you a ticket or two, and I'll go in and prepay and have them waiting there for you when you arrive. Feel free to invite more people, and I'll get the tickets beforehand.

Ok we're getting close. I'm holding a party on Saturday the 4th of September. PM me if you're interested in coming. Here's run down:

Sausages, drinks, motorcycles, people, swimming pool, fancy new deck. Umm, I leave for India on the 9th of September. This party is just in case I don't make it back.

Also, I'm putting on some meat and beers, although not unlimited so please BYO if you're going to get chopped, and make sure you've got a transport plan.

If anyone would like to make a donation to the charity organisation that our Rickshaw race team, the "RickRoll...ers", is supporting that would be appreciated. I'll put a money jar somewhere at the party. If you've already donated, I know who you are, and we really appreciate it, you hold a special place in my heart.
Our charity page is here:

It's going towards the FrankWater projects.

Also, if you're interested in some motorcycle riding gear, I'm fully stocked in Qmoto leather riding gear. But I won't have time to do too much customer service at the party, but it'll give you a chance to see it up close if you are into leather gear ;)

Although I'll be trying not to piss off the neighbours into the wee hours of the morning. Hope to see you there.
