I know I'm probably pushing my luck with this one, but if anyone has a spare solo seat cowl, suit a 750 slab I would be keen to buy.
Regards, Glen.

Just be 100% sure which bike you have as the pillion seat retaining mechanism was different for 1985 bikes compared to the 86 and 87 - along with the solo seat cowl. Quite a few bikes are registered as different years too, for example my 85 is registered as an 87.
If you actually have an 85, finding a solo seat cowl will be a huge mission anywhere not just in NZ. There are custom Fiberglass options around I think.

You could always make your own as i did !
Secret was to wrap the seat in glad wrap, then ad glass (lots of it lol) took a few hours of labour, grinding glassing, regrinding, reglassing and sanding but it came out mint and better than an expensive one off ebay !

The crowd in hamilton that makes fibreglass fairings (I forget the name) used to make those cowls, contact them and you may be surprised.

The one in that trademe auction is from a 1985 GSXR750F according to the way it mounts.
86/87 mount differently i've been told, and the fiche for the parts seems to agree. They bolt on in different ways http://www.alpha-sports.com/supr/1987%20GSXR750/49.gif
