Anyone in Wellington who could look at a KL250 Sherpa at Motorad?

Good afternoon gents, we have a few photos etc but it would be better if someone could kick the tyres, listen to it run, check the discs, tyres etc.

Would not hold anyone responsible for anything but wouldn't mind an opinion from someone who is not selling it to me, preferably someone with a little adventure knowledge that know what to look for.

Take the main exit into Lower hutt with the bridge over the river, turn left and it's 100 metres up the road on the right.

Heya Pampa, anything that pokes you in the yer eye as bad etc, scuffs, knocks, dings, shit that needs fixing, smoke (hopefully not) tappet noise , ability to start etc.

Anything that you think of when buying a bike, obviously you can't see through casings etc but I guess you can tell if it has been hammered or not.

Certainly no stress and no rush just when it suits IF it suits.

Think those directions would help if your looking for Motorad! they'll lead you too Motomart.

Motorad is on vivian street in Wellington city. which is at the end of the motorway.

motorad is on vivian st, basically follow the motorway in to the end (thru the terrace tunnel) and stay on that rd! it becomes vivian st! its thru the 4th or 5th set of lights on the right hand side.

They are having a great look around Canterbury at the mo while waiting for the carb so not all is lost.

there is a bike park straight across the road or if you are like most visitors to Motorad just park right outside the shop on the footpath.If none of these fellers look monsta i will have a look saturday,they might have two.

JMJ, cheers mate, well we had some negotiations with Lisa from Invercargill and agreed a price so we now own a 2007 1700 km old 250 Sherpa for Ellen to learn on.

Nice wee bike but I nearly hit my chin on the speedo when I strapped it open:gob:
