Well its in the local Shell Servo showroom.
Do I like it?...''yeah its pretty groovey lookin''
Would I ever want something like this? ''nope not for any reason to be honest''
But its made locally and for sale at $38,990.

That dont look like any stockman should look like...A Bike called the Stockman should be in my opinion something that is rugged and rough, able to go down dusty roads and up creekbeds etc, sort of akin to a BMW1200GS or the likes....
That bike in warkworth looks like it is built for cruising motorways and smooth paved roads...maybe Ponsomby Rr or Queen Street...That bike looks like it's built for wannabe bikers who are doctors or lawyers and such....Well thats my opinion anyway!!!

Everything looks like it's come straight off the shelf and there is very little 'custom' work involved. Apart from a shitload of chroming work and a fancy paint job, I can't really see where you'd come up with a price tag of $38,000... maybe $20k at a stretch.

It looks as though the wiring is held onto the swing arm upper tube by plastic zip ties. There is no place on a custom bike for zip ties. An Ultima engine, lovely laced wheels, lashings of chrome with acres of billet alloy and then there's those fucking plastic zip ties.
Fail.

You are probably right Bren, and the salaries of those people could afford this bike.

Hey there, Obviously all you who have slaged this bike off don't look in many Harley dealers but dollars for cubes the price aint that bad, I used to ride a 79 shovel and I would love to be able to spend that sort of coin on a cycil like that but my kids keep me poor, so N E how each to their own and most yuppies couldn't handle some thing that big they would break finger nails. Cheers Ride on

Why buy that pile of shite when you could for 10K less have a Honda Fury, that looks just as good and has a decent engine and gearbox. I would not be seen dead on something so rubbish as the "stockman"- the gay cowboy.

Quite a rake on it for a pro street, but it has all the styling of one. I like the diamond cut barrels (or so they look). Very crisp.

That's an ultima engine for you. Great engines, and pretty tough and reliable in comparison to other engines. Those El Bruto engines come in a number of flavors, including a 140ci

FXR's go around corners better than most would think. The frame was one HD's better ideas.

This one lives in the 'Naki, pulls wheelies at will and goes like a raped ape. Long list of goodies here and the owner's a real good sort.
