ooooh, cool.

Given that guy in Oamaru couldnt sell his one (with many more K's admittedly) for half that asking, are you confident your pricing is on the money? Just asking.

I would buy that helmet if it was EL's

The helmet was EL's he gave it to me in '87 (& not for sale, I also have a set of his leathers) and the price is negotiable but about right in this condition, thanks

There's a White one sitting in Falsgrave Autos  roughly half the kms but definitely not as tidy though.

It doesn't actually have 99999km, but if you are a potential buyer I will send you all relevant detail, chassis number etc, thanks for looking

Sorry, I'm a no money knowitall tyre kicker. If it helps, I really like the bike, and would buy it in a heartbeat if I had some coin...

Super sexy bike! There aren't many opportunities to buy a bike that will definitely appreciate over time but this one of them. Good luck with the sale.

Nice example mate. Get it on ebay pronto...they fetch good $'s over there easier than they do here.

It's all they were over seas too mate. Although the Yankee ones had a Kerker 4-1. Imagine if it was a real Z1000S1?

Um, theres a big-ass Kerker badge on that 4-1. just saying.

Sure is. But that's the only difference between the NZ and US ones. But a REAL Z1000S1 is like a factory superbike from waaaaay back then.

Think they built about 80 of them...150 HP ready to race. Be worth hundreds of thousands now I'd say. I had an article on them...in Cycle World...but recently gave the magazine to Sean Donnelly seeing as he's racing a rep of one.
