Saturday 10th April, Taupo Track 1
$125 pre pay (due 6th April)
$150 on the day

Each trackday (Jan to April 10) gets you in to win a set of Metzeler tyres to the value of $700.

I'd be keen to give it a go, would I be slowing people up on my baby 250 though? Track 1 has a rather long straight, doesn't it? Should I bring a magazine to read while I wait to get ot the end of it?

There are already 2 hyosung 250s in group 4, that i know of. You'll be fine! Don't worry about holding anyone up, it won't be an issue.

what is happening with taupo just looked at the calender and there is manfield added and it looks like less taupo trackdays

yes and it looks like there are now more mafield than taupo dates tell me this isnt so
this means I will have to do more hamton downs days oh wait I go to all of those too
I cant travel to manfield so it looks like less track days for me

real pleased about the manfield days coming up. You might be close enough for me to come see what the days are like. I keep hearign good things about them but Taupo is just too much of a stretch for me.

Mr Kiwifruit, as I will be in Taupo on the friday doing some work, I might just have to rock along and hire a garage for the day, to see if I can be of any use to your customers, and I have a huge supply of quality used Pirelli Diablo tyres with me, O, and a tyre machine and wheel balancer if that is ok with you guys?

SUSPENSION SET UP AND RIDING ADVICE GUIDANCE

i can also offer your customers this service as well

PS, I will also be bringing over one of your customers from New Plymouth for the day.

AWESOME day today. I've never ridden so hard in my life. I nearly highsided on one corner and my tyres are now melted. Many thanks to kiwifruit for taking me as a pillion while doing the lines for group 2 and the organizers for providing such an awesome day. I'll be booking for the next one. :-)

PS, Today was another fantastic Run event by MottTT

I enjoyd the day a lot, got a bit jelous of the riders having loads of fun in the afternoon though.

Really got huge amounts of plessure watching riders that I had worked on there suspension going faster and smoother, very satisfying.

Thanks to all who trusted and employed me to do there work

The last session was the best, I dropped another 2psi from the tyres which helped the grip (wish I'd done it earlier) and I felt like I was making less mistakes. :D
But there was more passing in other sessions, so here's a 4 x speed video of the first half of session 5 before the red flag.

Wish I'd been able to come :( Checked over my bike on Friday night to discover my chain had somehow shed its circlip.

Will probably wait for the Manfield days now. Don't really want to be riding to Taupo early in the morning in winter.
