I've never heard of "Aris" Do you mean Arai? most motorcycle stores stock Arai. I got mine from www.motorcyclegear.co.nz with the tinited visor too. Not sure if they do flip lids though.

Most motorcycle shops don't stock Arai, as there's no margin in them and they're way too expensive. Despite that...I've only ever used them after my first. They don't do flip fronts.

Aris?
Try www.alibaba.com , as most asian junk can be sourced there.

Possibly meant AIROH like this

I've got a Mathisse RS...reasonably nice helmet, very comfy & light but a bit noisy being a flip front but nothing that earplugs doesn't fix.
Hampton Honda in ChCh are agents

Its definitelynot "Aris"
You might mean a Schuberth? with the drop down internal sunvisor, and flip front?

There was at least one Aris rolling around Hamilton here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/100002-Helmet-repair?highlight=aris) ...ummm yeah.
You could try 1tonne (http://www.1tonne.co.nz/index.php?page=listings&categoryid=10). I don't know what their helmets are like but somebody on here is bound to own one and pipe up.

Good greif! I stand corrected.
And I'll stick with my Shoei. And my Arai. And my Davida
That "arse", sorry "aris" looks like a cheesy piece of crap to me. Just saying.

I have exactly the same helmet as the one you are after and it is an Aris. Lifestyle Imports in Pukekawa stock them and they are a great price too. New visors are only about $20!

Scorpion do helmets with the flip up sun visor inside (exo 1000 model), I have the next model down (exo 700) and it's a great helmet (and cheap as chips too, cost me $200NZ in an online sale)

I got my Aris for $100 on sale but have seen them at about $130.

No offence but any helmet that costs $130 will probably protect you less than if you taped $130 of coins to your forehead
