Thanks for asking. Sadly I'm not quite proud of anything. I have $20 in my wallet and that's enough. Guess I'm proud of that.
Oh, how can I forget. I'm proud of my father like every son.

No mention of your fine collection of bald-spot covers?
Me, I'm proud of my two little boys, my Yorkshire heritage, my ability to drink my way out of a hangover and the fact that if I stood for office, I'd be completely un-electable.

Im sorry but 5 is a good effort - but nothing to be proud of. You have to make double digits and need a jinsu knife to cut the bugger into pieces.

I'm proud of my Bride who is now wheelchair bound and in agony every day awaiting an operation to sort out her spine, she is depressed, incapacitated and helpless, driven to tears most days with the pain and frustration. Her courage against all the odds though is inspiring, the pain alone would make a lesser person (me) just give up, but she just gets on and does whatever she can and I am justifiably very very proud of my lady.
My kids do me proud year on year, not because of the jobs that they do or the wealth they've acquired but simply because they have turned out to be decent loving Human beings when it's so darned easy not to be, especially being disadvantaged by having me as their Dad  Bless 'em.
Finally, and not quite so cornily, I'm very proud to be the owner of a shiny new Harley and a GSX1400...oh yeah! :Punk:

Some where along the way the word pride changed to Proud.
Proud: to be Maori'
Pride: myself
1 at getting this far in life ( age thing)
2 having never been, on any form of benefit
3 having not been in serious trouble with the law or been in jail
4 in having done a good job with my kids and step kids, and now my grand kids.
5 only ever been interested in sex with the opposite sex (women)

Funny thing, talking about pride, is that he things one is proud of can be very humbling.
I'm proud to be looking forward to our 33rd anniversary this Oct. and humbled that my wife still loves me and loves me more now than ever...
I'm immensely proud of our kids, two daughters, 25, 30, and my stepson, 36, and our grandson, 4 and humbled at how they have turned out and made their lives what they are and that our family is so close, including my two sons-in-law who have given my girls a good and happy life.
I'm proud of beating several life-threatening illnesses and serious injuries - getting out of the wheelchair, and humbled at the life-lessons they have taught me.
I'm proud of my wife for the efforts she has made and continues to make to better herself, for getting her diploma in middle-age having failed at school, leaving there at 14 years old, for overcoming some horrible childhood expriences and learning to love herself and accept that she is a worthwhile person in her own right.

I never got the idea of being proud to be something you were born as... I can understand being proud of a country, but being proud to be born to two particular parants sounds a little weird

I am proud of myself for staying positive, bubbly, kind and together after being treated very badly by a few people, for a very long time. I am porud that I can still giggle and smile, and laugh about it after each day.
I am proud of the hard work I have put into training my dog, when so many people told me I need to "put that dog down". He has become a loving best friend who is completely devoted to me - still extrememly hard work, but so worth the 4 years of constant effort.
I am proud to have met my hero, My grandad. And of the love that I earnt from him.

I find it hard to explain or put into words, Ill have go anyway, as a people we are almost always portrayed as nothing more than drinking / drug taking wife beating child killers, who live off the tax payer, unempolyment / sickness benefit, and therefore as a people, always seen as second class, and never a equal.
Its does make it hard to hold your head up and be proud of who you are, as we live in a multicultural society.
The few can make it so hard for the rest who just get on with life.
sorry if I rambled on a bit

- Being tolerated by my wife for 38 years:innocent:
- Having 3 adult kids who work hard, have great attitudes and values.
- Being an NZ'er, even if I did come here from the UK in '75. Immense pride in what being an NZ'er represents, even if it doesn't seem fashionable to say it.

To be honest, with all the shit I am going through at present, I'm proud of the fact that I had the balls to log onto this website a couple of years ago. I have many non biker mates but some of those who I thought would be there for me in times or crisis simply dissappeared up their own arses. I have had so much support and guidance from people on this site over the last few weeks it has simply blown me away, and a lot of these people I have never met.
So, I'm proud of the great people on this site.
I'm also proud of the two sisters I entertained in 1991 after playing a gig in london, fecking ruder than getting a speeding fine in a VW Beetle they were......
Also proud that I managed to suss out a certain 'lady' I was dancing with in a Bangkok club was in fact a geezer. didnt have to lift up the dress and stare at the last turkey in the shop to find that out.....

Proud of my family,my kids-especially one who had to have her bowel removed to ensure she didn't get cancer(she was 17 at the time, and showed maturity beyond years)the other for being a bloody good sis to her older one(she hasn't the gene).
The fact my surgeon was a miracle worker after me being pigheaded and not seeing my gp earlier,he gave me life after I nearly stuffed it.Getting through 35yrs of soccer without breaking a leg,and playing at top local level in the Naki.
My loving partner who was there while I undertook tests for cancer, and phoning family and friends when told what was wrong with me,something I couldn't do at the time, and giving me a reason to fight to beat the shit, and then when I was diagnosed with lung tumour having the patience of a saint to be at ny bedside early morn(7.00am-10pm).
And I suppose proud of myself, never really got the why fucken me syndrome, just lets get on and do it,having seen a mate in hospice and getting him to smile at me,as he knew I wouldn't feel pity for him,yes I felt anguish for him and his partner, but not pity.
