any one had them?? i know they are made in asia, but thats about it
they have pretty good reviews on http://answers.jcwhitney.com/answers/1915/product/25238G/questions.htm

any one had them personally, hearsay is just that

I'm using a K671 on the front,and am very impressed with it,impressed for the price too.Pity they don't do a rear in my size so I could match it.

what bike are you using it on?? r65??
ive read that people with light bikes didnt like them, but weither that is internet hearsay :D who knows

they do a 130/70 18 which should fit on the r65 and for $119 from cycle treads isnt a bad price either

My bicycle's tyres are from Kenda.

i have got kendas on my project bike, havnt ridden on them yet but they are nylon!

ive read that people with light bikes didnt like them,

I wouldn't call the R65 a light bike.Actually I don't like it....but it's the bike not the tyre.I like to run my 4.00x18 Dunlop K70 front tyre,I can really push the fat sticky tyre in the corners....using a 90/90 makes the bike understeer,nervous on entry and runs wide.But it was the same with the Metzler Laser so doubt it's the tyre - the compound is soft,and gets a well scuffed look,it has stiff sidewalls and doesn't move.Just my preference to run non standard tyres for my style of ridding.

i wasn't insinuating your bike was light :D
neither is mine, just from what i have read, people on little 250's didnt like them, but what would they know anyway :D

why didnt you drop the profile down? 100/70-18's

Maybe they need more weight on the tyre...it sure works with over 200kg pushing on it.There are clearance issues with a 100 tyre - with the 4.00 tyre I remove the front guard.And I needed to run with the recommended sizes as a comparison to my changes on the other wheels.Confirms my own choices - but some people might not be able to ride the bike with my set up.Don't be afraid to make a tyre choice others think is not such a good idea....sometimes a gamble pays off.
