Awesome! Well done!
Just in the process of stripping "Roxanne" (my CBR1000FL see "Roxanne's" Stripping For Winter (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=11937)) to fix the coolant leak and cam chain rattle.
By the way the carburettor air vent filter in the below pic bolts/screws onto a small bracket mounted on the main frame on the inside upper right front side just under the front righthand side of the petrol tank (see attached jpg from Haynes manual for CBR600F1 & CBR1000F 87-96):msn-wink: http://photos1.blogger.com/img/168/3616/320/Image%2897%29.jpg

Hmmm... still none the wiser ... will have another look tonight, it has been twisted in every direction and I can't seem to find a place to fit it :(

I know the feeling! I built a GSXR250 from a 6-year-box of bits and needed a new engine and a lot of work. Very satisfying to hear it fire up..
Well done, can't be much more to go!!

yup, but there is nothing in reach to connect it to!
.... unless it is the white plastc thing in the bucket...
Yea ha!
Down to the bottom of the street, and back again :-) :ride:
The chain is soo loose, moderate blip on throttle and slip slip slip...
Getting the thing to turn at low speed is a bit like trying to bend an iron bar
She smokes more than I do (valves!!!)
But there is definate potential there :-)
