Things I've learned in the last day or so...

1. Sometimes you get lucky. Like deciding not to blast past a car because it looks like it could be a mufti...and just as you decide to sit back behind, the TPX goes bananas and a Highway Patrol car comes along the other way a-seeking hoons...preferably hoons fanging past other cars...:nono:

2. If you put the risotto rice on to brown and then fuck off and forget about it, the resulting mess is spectacular, to say the least. And the stink hangs on for fuck knows how long...oh and rice can get bloody hot without bursting into flame (luckily). The smoke output, however, is prodigious. :blink:

3. The filter in the bottom of your dishwasher contains some really manky shit...DAMHIKT. :puke:

You got lucky! I was watching TV and in this ad a woman leaves her sausages unattended for 2 seconds and the resulting conflagration envelops and destroys her whole house and presumably one of her daughters as well!

Nonono, it destroyed the set. She's doing a cooking show.........and there's a kid watching her.

I do'nt understand all these fucken home safety ads, like the twatt selling a muesli bar that falls through a coffee table.....and the guy talking about the paint who falls off the ladder. WTF?

Why do'nt they just show the people doing what they're doing, then the follow-on accident? To me the message is to take more care around t.v studios.......:blink:

I mean, who goes around their home talking to a camera?

Oh and yeah, once the fire gets to that stage it's pretty damn fast, faster than you'd expect. The problem with it is the lack of smoke. If they put in half as much as there would be at the stage it's in you would'nt be able to see the lady and her kid. There is a real message there (not to be mr serious or anything!) obviously not in 2 seconds but if the ad was really 2-3 mins long it would be horrendously expensive!
